🚨 New Character Requirement & Easier Access
At One Time Home Care Software, we're committed to helping caregivers document their work efficiently while maintaining high standards for compliance and care quality. Our latest updates to the Narratives feature improve both how you write and where you access your narrative notes.
🆕 1. Minimum Character Requirement for Narratives
Users must now enter at least 100 characters in their narrative entry before it can be saved. This change ensures each narrative captures enough meaningful detail to reflect the care provided during a shift.

How it works:
A live character counter helps track your input.
Entries under 100 characters show in red and will not save.
Once you pass 100 characters, the counter turns green and the save button becomes available.
🧠 Keep in mind:
Our system already captures key clinical and task-related data—such as vital signs, task completion, and clock-in/out logs. While you may choose to address these again in your narrative for context or clarity, it's completely up to your professional discretion.
🆕 2. Now Accessible from the Clock-Out Screen
To make documentation even easier, you can now access Narratives directly from the Clock-Out screen—in addition to the Home screen.

This new button appears alongside:
Signatures
Narratives
Notes Taken
This gives you a quick way to complete your narrative before finishing your shift, ensuring nothing is forgotten or delayed.
📱 No more navigating back—everything you need is now right where you clock out.
📋 Why This Matters
These updates:
Promote more complete documentation
Make the process faster and more intuitive
Ensure caregivers/nurse can document their observations while still having flexibility to include what they feel is clinically relevant
We believe in supporting your documentation process, not complicating it.
Thank you for your continued commitment to providing high-quality care and for being part of the One Time Home Care Software family.
